So here's the final product after an uncomfortable night in rollers. Unfortunately, due to the rain, the curls sort of went flat. But it was funny when I got to work and people didn't recognize me. Needless to say, I took third place (out of four). But personally, I think it was rigged.
After I got home from work my nieces, Ava and Charlie, came over to trick-or-treat and show off their costumes. Unlike many neighborhoods of Sonoma, we only had a total of twelve trick-or-treaters...which has left us with lots of candy that I'm trying not to eat.
My sister Wendy with the girls.

One final, dramatic pose for the camera. Note the flip-flops...my heels had come off when I got home from work and were NOT, under ANY circumstances going back on my feet. I actually wore the shoes I wore at our wedding. (Who said I wouldn't ever wear them again? Well, now I have and I can officially say they are TOTALLY uncomfortable and can now go to Goodwill.) After this picture, the monkey went away and Isaac and I spent a relaxing evening watching bad horror flicks and waiting for the trick-or-treaters that never showed up. All in all..it was an awesome Halloween!
